Poland when TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition Opens in Warsaw on September 1

Poland when TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition opens on September 1st, 2024 at the SOHO ART CENTER in Warsaw.

Tragic tales of love, sacrifice, bravery, and grief that stemmed from the night of Titanic’s first voyage continue to resonate over a century later. E/M Group and RMS Titanic, Inc. announced the opening of Poland when TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition at the SOHO Art Center in Warsaw on September 1, 2024. The exhibition closes on New Year’s Eve, giving visitors enough time to enjoy the artifacts and the amazing stories they tell.

We are thankful for the opportunity to bring Titanic and her stories to Warsaw. The Exhibition will provide guests with the chance not only to emotionally connect with the genuine artifacts and stories of the passengers and crew, but also with individuals who held strong ties to Poland.

Jessica Sanders, CEO of E/M Group and President of RMS Titanic, Inc.

Over 35 million people worldwide have visited the Titanic Exhibition, which tells the ship’s story respectfully using genuine artifacts and an immersive environment of meticulously recreated notable ship interiors. This gives visitors a unique opportunity to understand the tragic human stories of those aboard the ship.

The Titanic, sometimes called the “Ship of Dreams,” carried people from all over the globe, including Poland, on a voyage that began with mere pleasure and finished with hopes for a better future. Visitors to the Exhibition can better understand Leah Aks’s remarkable life story. Frank Philip “Filly” Aks and his mother, Leah Aks, were on their way to Norfolk, Virginia, to be with their spouse. Leah was a young mother from Warsaw. Leah recognized the sound of Filly’s screams, and the mother and infant were reunited onboard the Carpathia after being separated by the sinking. Guests may anticipate a profound and moving exploration of the Polish ties on board the Titanic.

Warsaw’s SOHO ART CENTER – ul. Mińska 63, Warsaw Entrance from ul. Chodakowska (near Orlen station) – is part of a thriving community and hosts cultural exhibitions in the Kamionek area. You can purchase tickets for the upcoming Poland when TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition online.
