The Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort Crete, now part of the exclusive Curio Collection by Hilton, is a haven for discerning adults. It offers a privileged escape to one of Crete’s most alluring destinations.

The beachfront resort, which opened back in 2021/22, is on the outskirts of Ierapetra, Europe’s Southernmost city. Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort Crete has 123 rooms and suites, two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor gyms, a tennis court, and a boutique spa. The resort has two restaurants (Menoa and Tamarisk) a poolside bar with snacks (Mare Mare), a boutique shopping experience, and many more amenities.

The adults-only resort also features an outdoor cinema set against the glorious backdrop of Crete’s stunning mountains. Patrick Fitzgibbon, Senior Vice President at Hilton’s Europe, Middle East and Africa Development division, offered this insight about traveler expectations with the news:

Travelers are increasingly seeking resorts that provide high-quality service in established and up-and-coming destinations internationally, while owner interest in developing summer hotels under Hilton brands is increasing. Last year alone, over 20% of our new projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa were resorts, and we predict that growth in this sector will continue, particularly in Mediterranean island destinations.

He also mentioned the ten resorts set to open this summer season at popular destinations, including Ibiza, the Algarve and Crete.

Numa Ierapetra won the Hospitality Design’s Greek Hotel of the Year Award for 2022, so under Hilton’s steerage, we can only assume more awards are destined for the stylish adult refuge.
