The 2nd Balloon Festival (Hava Şarları Festivalı) is set to take place in Shamakhi, Azerbaijan, on June 8-9.
The Hot Air Balloon Festival, organized by EZONE company and supported by the Shamakhi District Executive Power, aims to enhance the tourism appeal of Azerbaijan, particularly Shamakhi District, the event’s host location.
A myriad of balloons, exhibiting an array of colours, shapes, and designs, will ascend over Meysari village in Shamakhi during the morning flights scheduled on June 8 and 9, between 05:00 and 08:00. This captivating spectacle promises to leave spectators with lasting memories.
While touristic balloon flights are not yet available, residents of Meysari village can enjoy demonstration flights conducted by local pilots in collaboration with international experts.
Visitors who register on the iTicket.az website can look forward to a vibrant entertainment and concert program at the Shirvan Sharablari Complex in Meysari village. Attendance is free of charge.
The inaugural Balloon Festival, which took place in Shamakhi on June 17-18, 2023, garnered significant interest from the outset.
