The Tomb of Kaplan Pasha (Tyrbe e Kapllan Pasha) is all that remains of a burial complex connected to a Tirana mosque that was destroyed during World War II. This former ruler of Tirana was interned here in the 19th century, but was later repatriated back to Istanbul. The tomb consists of eight classical columns connected by arches. After WW II the tomb was left derelict for many years, and has only recently been restored.
