Teatri Kombetar i Kukullave Tirane (Tirana Puppet Theater) or simply Teatri i Kukullave, can be found in a historic building that used to serve the Albanian parliament before World War II. The theater was founded in 1950 by a team of professional actors. Currently, it gives circa 500 performances yearly, on its own stage and in tours across the country. The theater features performances for children, using puppets with strings, puppet dolls, masks, mime, and performances by actors.

Teatri Kombetar i Kukullave Tirane (Tirana Puppet Theater) is the first professional children’s theater in Albania.
