The Port of Vlorë is a natural deepwater port situated in the Bay of Gjiri I Vlores. The harbor terminal is projected to be the biggest in the Balkans and Eastern European countries. The terminal will be able to host more than 3 million containers per year.
Currently, the Port of Vlorë is a transit port, as well as an important commercial node, harboring a lot of the import-export activities for the region, and providing efficient access to the sea for many of the Balkan countries.
In the future, its industrial park will provide facilities and services to support the development of many industries in Vlorë. When the work is done, Vlorë will become a major port for the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
