Ethnographic Museum (Muzeu Etnografik)

The Ethnographic Museum (Muzeu Etnografik) is located in one of the city’s oldest buildings, built in the mid nineteenth century – a cultural monument in Albania.

Visitors can admire a beautiful collection of about 300 valuable objects showcasing the traditions of Vlore.  Among the most important items in the museum are the wooden objects masterfully made by people of this region, the 150 years old waistcoat of Kanina, some very old carpets and filigree works and many other valuable items reminding of the long tradition of craftsmanship in metal and wood, a representative talent for people of this area.
